USING YOUR MATCHA WHISK - THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD KEEP IN MIND

A dry bamboo whisk tends to break the bristles when whipping the matcha tea. We therefore recommend placing the broom in a bowl of lukewarm water before use. It is enough if only the first 3-4 centimeters of the bristles are in the water for a few minutes. This makes the material softer and more flexible and prevents the bristles from breaking.

HOW TO WHISK YOUR MATCHA TEA PROPERLY

Using the matcha whisk requires a little practice, but it usually works very quickly. First, hold the whisk loosely between your index and ring fingers. The thumb provides additional grip.

Whisking the matcha tea is relatively simple: with quick zigzag movements from the wrist - as if you were writing a "W" - you whisk the matcha tea until you can see the foam typical of matcha tea on the surface of the tea. It is airy and particularly creamy. As soon as the foam is visible, the green tea powder has been optimally distributed in the water.

CLEANING AND STORING YOUR MATCHA BROOM

The bamboo broom is a natural product and should under no circumstances be cleaned with detergent or other chemical cleaners. After use, it is sufficient to rinse the broom with a little water and put it on a broom holder to dry. The bamboo broom can dry quickly and - what is more important - retains its shape at the same time.
