It ensures a longer lifespan for the delicate matcha broom by allowing its bristles to ventilate evenly after use and dry quickly to maintain their shape and quality. Simply rinse the matcha broom with lukewarm water immediately after use and place it on the broom holder with the bristles facing down. The crouched, slightly flattened design of the broom holder offers an optimal fit and stability for all types of brooms.

The Matcha broom holder is traditionally made of porcelain and is called “Chasentate” in Japan. It is not only a practical utensil for storing the matcha whisk, but also helps it maintain its typical shape and protect its bristles. This makes the matcha broom last particularly long.

The broom holder, Japanese “Chasentate”, allows the Matcha bamboo broom to be stored perfectly. Thanks to careful storage, the bamboo whisk retains its curved shape, which is necessary for frothing the matcha tea!
CORRECT USE OF MATCHA BROOM AND BROOM HOLDER
After using the Matcha bamboo broom, it should simply be rinsed briefly under lukewarm water and placed on the Matcha broom holder to dry.
