Matcha Chia Pudding - easy, fast & tasty

In this recipe we will show you how to prepare a delicious chia pudding with matcha quickly and easily.

What is Chia Pudding

Chia pudding is not classic pudding in the true sense of the word, but puffed chia seeds. Chia seeds, like Matcha, are among the so-called superfoods. Chia seeds have a high fiber content and are therefore very saturating and a great way to enhance muesli or yoghurt with important nutrients. In addition, this recipe is particularly beautifully served by the bright green Matcha powder and is ideal as a delicious breakfast for a good start to the day.


  • 250ml almond, soy, oat or classic cow's milk
  • 4 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • Optional: A sweetener such as hoing or agave syrup (depending on taste)
  • 1 handful raspberries
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder

  1. First, the almond, soybean, oat or cow's milk is coated with the vanilla powder and the Matcha Gourmet powder mixed. The easiest way to do this is with a small hand blender or milk frother.
  2. Afterwards, the milk enriched with Matcha is added to the chia seeds and mixed well. Depending on the taste, other sweeteners such as hoing or agave syrup can be added here.
  3. After that, the chia seeds must swell in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  4. After swelling, the whole thing can still be nicely garnished with fruit or fruit before serving. At this point we have opted for delicious raspberries, which give the recipe a particularly beautiful optical touch.

A delicious breakfast is ready!

The Chia Matcha pudding is stored in the fridge for a few days and can therefore be prepared on the eve.
