HANDMADE UNIQUE ITEMS WITH UNBEATABLE PRICE-PERFORMANCE RATIO

The focus of our “Shiro” tea ceremony set is the matcha bowl of the same name with a capacity of 430ml (diameter: 12 cm, height: 8 cm). It is handmade and has a very characteristic, yet timeless design thanks to its puristic white and rough surface.

The perfectly colored ceramic broom holder (height: 7 cm, diameter: 6.3 cm) is an indispensable utensil for storing the matcha broom so that it retains its typical shape and its bristles are protected.

Also included is an original Japanese matcha broom (80 fine bristles), which is lovingly handcrafted in Japan. The same applies to the matcha spoon made of white bamboo (approx. 18 cm long), which ensures the optimal dosage of the matcha powder.

Tip: Optionally you can buy the set including our 30g organic matcha tea “Gourmet”. In the set you only pay €9.90 for the tea instead of €12.90!

CLEANING THE MATCHA BOWL PROPERLY - IT'S THAT EASY

This Matcha bowl (Chawan) was lovingly shaped and glazed by hand. Since it is a handmade unique piece, the Chawan should not be cleaned in the dishwasher.

We recommend rinsing with water for cleaning and using dishwashing liquid for heavier soiling. It is best to clean with lukewarm water immediately after use.

CORRECT USE OF MATCHA BROOM AND BROOM HOLDER

A dry bamboo whisk tends to break the bristles when whipping the matcha tea. We therefore recommend placing the broom in a bowl of lukewarm water before use. This makes the material softer and more flexible and prevents the bristles from breaking.

After using the Matcha bamboo broom, it should simply be rinsed briefly under lukewarm water and placed on the Matcha broom holder to dry so that the bristles are automatically spread carefully and thus retain their curved shape. This promotes the longevity of the matcha whisk.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR MATCHA SPOON

The matcha spoon should not get wet during use and should therefore only be cleaned with a dry cloth if necessary.
